IBM (another victim) Goes After George

To impress people, George C. Pell claims he worked at IBM (1998-2005) where he had been responsible for “multi-million-dollar projects,” and was promoted 4 times in 7 years! Maybe it’s true, because George not only convinced IBM to hire him back in July 2010, he got them to pay him an upfront bonus of $18,000.00. To induce IBM to pay up, George promised he would pay it back if he quit or was fired within the first year on the job.

George doesn’t talk about this or mention that he went back to work for IBM in his self-promoting publications. Here’s why – he was fired 6 months into the job, and IBM demanded he pay it back its money. Rather than honor his promise, George ignored IBM’s repeated demands.

One would think that a multi-billion-dollar global corporation would simply not bother to devote resources to chasing such a small sum from a former low-level employee (which is what George was), and would let it go. But for some reason, which one could only imagine, IBM wasn’t going to let George skate. IBM hired a lawyer to sue George and ultimately obtained a judgment against George for the full amount he stiffed it for plus costs of the suit.

But George had the last laugh. As usual, George had no job, and no money to pay IBM back. In fact, George applied for and was granted status as an INDIGENT PERSON by the Court because he didn’t have the hundred bucks or so to pay the fee to appear in the lawsuit. In a sworn affidavit made to the Court, George represented his income was LESS THAN 125% of the federal poverty guidelines. In other words, George didn’t have a dime to his name, and IBM, like many others George has left in his wake, never got its money back from George.

This is the real George C. Pell.
